AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Revealed
According to the official statement, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.
The adventure centers on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Extra Material
Players who finish the quest will acquire an special katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Latest Free Story Update
