That's a habit they become accustomed to; a private custom that assists them "disconnect" from the overwhelming thoughts that flood their thoughts when daily life eventually winds down.

This story represents what I've been noticing at a growing rate in my practice. Being a therapist, it's clear a striking development: a rising amount of individuals that are relying on alcohol to cope with their stress.

Data reveals that around 34.9% of individuals who drank beverages reported doing so to alleviate tension and a substantial percentage to deal with worry.

Recognizing Contemporary Stress Exposure

We navigate a period of known as global distress exposure. Never have we been so persistently made aware of emergencies, disputes and instability. Although we turn off our screens, the anxieties persist of economic pressure, employment uncertainty, environmental concerns and the emotional fatigue that results from experiencing so powerless.
